Mutajadeda

Through launching Mutajadeda program, SIDF aims to achieve the national aspirations of Renewable Energy's production and enable manufacturing it to meet the local demand. This program contributes to the improvement of local developers in the field of Renewable Energy's production and promote the quality of products specialized mainly in Solar and Wind Energy. Thus, aligning them with the local and global demands through three tracks of financing, the manufacturers of Renewable Energy's components, independent Renewable Energy production and Renewable Energy production for the Industrial, Commercial and Agricultural sectors.

Financing renewable energy Components Manufacturing,

Benefits:

  • Longer tenor (up to 15 years)
  • Including grace period (up to 36 months)
  • Financing up to 75% of project cost
  • Alignment with the Renewable Energy Projects Development Office (REPDO).

Financing Renewable Independent Power Producers (IPPs),

Benefits:

  • Longer repayment period (up to 20 years)
  • Including grace period (up to 36 months)

Financing Distributed Solar Electrical Generation,​

Benefits:

  • Longer tenor (up to 15 years)
  • Including grace period (up to 36 months)
  • Financing up to 75% of project cost
  • Available for projects owners and developers in commercial and agriculture sectors

Objectives:

  • Achieve national ambitions in renewable energy sector
  • Enable renewable energy components manufacturing to meet local demand.
